How we collect, use, share, and protect personal data on DGC Bazaar, DGC POS, and related services.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the owner and operator of DGC POS (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects and handles information in connection with DGC POS — POS Smart Solution and the cloud services at app.dgcpos.com and dgcpos.com, the buyer marketplace at dgcbazaar.com (DGC Bazaar), and related mobile apps (collectively, the “Service”).

DGC POS (POS Smart Solution) is a cloud-based software platform offered free during public beta. DGC POS — POS Smart Solution is a cloud-based software platform, offered free during public beta. The Service is operated under the DGC POS trade name. Formal company registration details will be published when completed.

Upon completion of company registration, the owner may assign or transfer these rights and obligations to the registered entity. Updated legal documents may be published where required by applicable law.

By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Data controller

The Operator acting under the DGC POS brand is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service, except where third-party payment or infrastructure providers act as independent controllers for their own services.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email, phone, business name, country, store settings, and credentials.
  • Business data: products, inventory, sales, customers, staff, receipts, and operational records you enter.
  • Marketplace / order data: delivery name, phone, ward and address, order items, COD amounts, and tracking status.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser data, logs, timestamps, and security audit records.
  • Communications: support messages, feedback, and correspondence with [email protected].
  • Payment metadata: transaction references and status from enabled gateways (card/wallet details are handled by processors, not stored by us as full card numbers).

3. How we use information

We process information to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service and marketplace orders.
  • Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and enforce platform rules.
  • Improve features, performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Communicate about accounts, security, beta access, and service updates.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
  • Prepare for billing, registration, and commercial operations when applicable.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data for analytics, benchmarking, and product development without identifying you personally.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with:

  • Infrastructure providers: cloud hosting, CDN, database, backup, and monitoring vendors.
  • Payment processors: where you or sellers enable third-party gateways.
  • Sellers and delivery partners: order and delivery details needed to fulfil marketplace orders.
  • Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants, or auditors under confidentiality duties.
  • Successors: in connection with registration, restructuring, or asset transfer.
  • Authorities: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.

Service providers are authorized to process data only as needed to perform services for us and subject to appropriate contractual safeguards where applicable.

6. International processing

As a cloud platform serving users globally, data may be processed in multiple countries where our infrastructure providers operate. You consent to such transfers where permitted by law, and you are responsible for ensuring your own cross-border compliance obligations.

7. Data isolation (multi-tenant)

Business account data is logically separated by tenant (store). Store owners control their operational records within the Service. Platform administrators may access account data for support, security, billing, beta management, and enforcement of our terms. Your shop’s products and orders are not mixed into another merchant’s POS view.

8. Retention

We retain data for as long as your account is active and as necessary for backups, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and enforcement of our agreements. We may delete or anonymize data when no longer required, subject to applicable law and active legal holds.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, session revocation, and multi-tenant isolation. No system is completely secure; you use the Service at your own risk and should maintain independent backups of critical business records.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal data by contacting [email protected] or [email protected]. We may verify your identity and may refuse or limit requests where permitted by law, where fulfilment would impair rights of others, undermine security, or conflict with legal retention duties.

Account deletion requests do not automatically delete all backups, logs, or records we must retain by law or for legitimate business purposes. Shop staff access is controlled by the store owner.

11. DGC Bazaar (marketplace)

When you browse or buy on dgcbazaar.com, we process order contact details (name, phone, address), device data, and communications related to orders. Sellers control product listings and fulfilment data. See our Marketplace & Listing Policy for seller and buyer rules.

12. Cookies and local storage

The Service uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, cart, preferences, and offline functionality. Optional analytics cookies load only after consent. See our Cookie Policy. Disabling essential cookies may limit Service availability.

13. Children

The Service is for businesses and authorized adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

15. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updated versions are effective when posted on this page. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

A revised policy may be published after company registration with updated entity details.
