This Cookie Policy explains how DGC POS (app.dgcpos.com), DGC Bazaar (dgcbazaar.com), and dgcpos.com use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
2. Essential cookies and storage
Required for the Service to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in, cart, checkout, or security features.
- Authentication: short-lived access tokens and refresh tokens (session/local storage and/or HttpOnly cookies).
- Security: CSRF/origin protections and session integrity for browser clients.
- Preferences: theme, language, and UI settings you choose.
- Cart and checkout: items, delivery location, and order draft data on Bazaar.
- Offline POS: queued sales when connectivity is interrupted.
- Cookie consent choice: remembers Essential only vs Accept all.
3. Analytics cookies (optional)
With your consent, we may load Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage and improve performance. You may choose Essential only in our cookie banner to decline analytics. Analytics data is used in aggregate form and is not sold.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may also measure anonymous page-load performance using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies or track you across sites.
4. Third-party cookies
Payment gateways (eSewa, Khalti, Stripe, and others), Google Sign-In, and map providers may set their own cookies when you use those features. Their policies govern those cookies. We do not control third-party cookie lifetimes or content.
5. How long data lasts
- Session storage: typically cleared when the browser tab closes.
- Local storage / remember-me refresh: until you sign out, clear site data, or tokens expire/rotate.
- HttpOnly refresh cookies: set with secure attributescleared on logout where supported.
- Analytics cookies: according to Google’s configuration when analytics is accepted.
6. Managing preferences
Use our on-site cookie banner when it appears. You can also clear site data in your browser settings. After clearing storage, the banner will show again. Blocking all cookies may prevent login and checkout.
