How buyers and sellers file complaints on DGC Bazaar, response timelines, and escalation under Nepal E-Commerce Act, 2081 expectations.

1. Purpose

DGC Bazaar maintains a grievance-handling channel so buyers and sellers can raise complaints about orders, listings, payments (including COD), delivery, and platform conduct.

Aligned with Electronic Commerce Act, 2081 expectations for accessible electronic complaint handling and timely response.

3. How to file a complaint

You may submit a grievance:

  • Electronically: via Orders → dispute / support tools on dgcbazaar.com, or email to [email protected]
  • In writing: email a formal complaint with order number, contact phone, and evidence (photos, chat logs)
  • In person: at the Operator’s registered office (address listed under “Company & compliance information” below)

4. What to include

  • Full name and phone number used at checkout
  • Order number and approximate order date
  • Seller/store name if known
  • Clear description of the issue and the remedy sought (refund, replacement, cancellation, etc.)
  • Supporting evidence

5. Our process

  1. Acknowledge receipt and log the complaint.
  2. Request missing information if needed.
  3. Coordinate with the seller and, where relevant, payment/delivery partners.
  4. Communicate an outcome or interim update within the 15-day target window where reasonably possible.
  5. Keep records of grievances and resolutions for compliance and quality improvement.

6. Platform role

DGC Bazaar is an intermediary marketplace. Sellers remain responsible for goods and fulfilment; the Operator is responsible for providing this grievance channel and fair handling of complaints raised through it.
